Who Is Giga Tech? Engineered Power for Zimbabwean Homes and Businesses

Giga Tech is a registered Zimbabwean engineering company that designs, installs and maintains solar power systems and electrical installations, serving Chinhoyi, Harare and the surrounding regions. Founded by Tinofaranashe Chogugudza and Takura T. Ditima in 2025, both graduates from Chinhoyi University of Technology with degrees in Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics. So rest assured every system is specified as per highest quality by qualified— engineers — is the difference we want you to remember. A level above just being a solar technician.
Panels Are Easy to Buy. Systems Have to Be Engineered.
Anyone can sell you a panel and an inverter. What determines whether your solar investment actually works — through winter, through cloudy weeks, five years from now — is the engineering behind it: sizing the system to your real loads, matching the battery bank to your usage pattern, protecting the installation properly, and wiring it to a standard that keeps your family and property safe.

Every Giga Tech installation starts with an assessment of your actual energy needs, not a guess. We then design a system on paper before a single screw goes into your roof, install it to certifiable standard, and stand behind it with a written warranty. What We Do
Residential solar. Backup and full solar systems for homes — sized so the things that matter to you keep running when ZESA goes down, without paying for capacity you'll never use.
Commercial solar. Systems from 10kVA to 60kVA for shops, offices, farms and industry, designed around the numbers: your loads, your tariff, your payback period.
Electrical services. Professional electrical work delivered by qualified engineers — done right the first time, because in this trade shortcuts are dangerous and expensive.
